On June 15, Tejas Toastmasters celebrated our 58th anniversary with a dinner at the Dynasty
Buffet. In addition to installing new officers, we presented a plaque to outgoing president Rick Iverson and announced the
winners of this year's special awards:
- Boyce Campbell Award for Toastmaster of the Year - Kathie Del Hierro
- Jim Goff Award for Most Improved Toastmaster - Chris Del Hierro
- Donald Grace Award for Community Service - Suzanne Spencer

In June 1951 the first Toastmaster club in Texas' talkative capital city received
its charter from Toastmasters International.
Tejas Toastmasters has been going strong ever since.

Our Mission
The mission of Tejas Toastmasters is to promote excellence in leadership and communication through the programs
of Toastmasters International. We build on our traditions of friendliness and
a diverse cultural heritage as we provide opportunities and support for members to realize their personal goals through development
of communication and leadership skills. Our members play active roles in the
network of Toastmaster International clubs and serve as a valued resource in the Austin community.

The names "Toastmasters International," "Toastmasters," and the Toastmasters International
emblem are trademarks protected in the United States, Canada, and other countries where Toastmasters Clubs exist. Unauthorized
use is prohibited
